I write today with much grief because most of the people living on the surface of the earth don’t live the original purpose for their existence. And this saddens my heart.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

We live each day with the sense of feeling that someday we’ll be somewhere outside the world but as to the exact place we’ll be, nobody can actually tell. Those who practice scientology, the Hindu, Buddhist, traditionalist, Muslim, Christian, those who practice Judaism and even the atheist believes somewhere in their hearts that one day they’ll meet someone called God and they need to live a life that will put them in right stand with Him. And this boils down to our true being and the original intent for our existence.

I’ve come to the realization that God never created anyone to just exist. He placed in us giftings to do good works prepared for us before our entry into this world. He purposed everything before the foundation of the world. And He placed eternity into the hearts of men that they’ll manifest His manifold to reveal His Glory. The tragic part is we conforming to the world and serve the prince of this age with the treasure store in us.

Among such people who had marvelous potentials but never used it for God’s Kingdom are Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandros, Castro, Suzy Williams, Terry Bonchaka, Tupac, Aliya, Great Fafa, Elton John, Peter Cetera and other more, just to mention a few. Some of these legends have even turn into homosexuals and drug addict; lost their sense of purpose. It’s a tragedy to die a successful failure in the sight of God, but a successful hero in the sight of men.

Blessed With Spiritual Blessings

According to Scriptures, Paul wrote to the church of Ephesus telling them of how greatly God has blessed them with giftings.

Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:5
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Ephesians 1:6
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Ephesians 1:8
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Ephesians 1:9
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Wow…I’m astonished! God chose us all before the foundation of the world, blessed us with spiritual blessings to accomplish good works prepared for us, to praise the richness of His Glory, yet we come to the earth but not fulfil His will.

Myles Munroe, Oral Roberts, TL Osborne, Benson Idahosa, katherine koleman, Andrae Crouch, Apostle Paul, Martin Luther King Jr, and the rest who served the Lord with their gifts but are of blessed memory, never forsook the purpose for their existence. They fought a good fight, and finished the race.

There’s a time to be born and a time to die, but in between death and birth is a season to fulfill God’s purpose. If you can sing, sing to the glory of God. If you can write, write books that will promote the Gospel. Let your preaching win souls for Christ. Don’t die famous, die with the sense of being acknowledge by God as “good and faithful servant”.
